You are listening to some of the air traffic conversations which took place throughout the afternoon of November 22, 1963. The White House Situation Room, code-named Crown, is providing updated information from the press ticker to the president’s air crew in Dallas and to the crew of the plane carrying Secretary of State Dean Rusk. (Rusk’s plane here is called “Wayside.”) The code name “Volunteer” belongs to Lyndon Johnson.
Hoover, Johnson and the ’64 Election
It was the night of November 21st,in the Hotel Texas, Fort Worth. Inside room 850, President Kennedy and Vice-President Lyndon Johnson would become engaged in a heated debate over the seating arrangement for the motorcade the next day. It was an argument so fierce the First Lady heard it from outside the presidential suite. Johnson insisted that his good friend Texas Gov. John Connally ride with him in the rear vehicle rather than in the President’s lead car. When Kennedy refused, Johnson stormed out of the room, prompting Kennedy to give his last dictated words to his secretary Evelyn Lincoln: “Johnson will not be on the ticket.” Sure enough, Connally was shot in the wrist and rib the next day.
Some two years earlier, on June 3, 1961, Federal Agricultural Agent Henry Marshall was found shot to death on his farm in Franklin, Texas. A local Justice of the Peace declared Marshall had committed suicide, but found next to Agent Marshall was a single action rifle which local authorities claimed he had miraculously loaded, shot, reloaded and shot into his head five times.
At the time of his death, Agent Marshall was on the trail of a multi-million dollar swindle of the federal government’s agricultural division. The gruesome murder became known as
the Billy Sol Estes Affair. Johnson’s own personal legal counsel showed up as Estes’ principal attorney. According to later grand jury testimony, Estes tesified that he was a member of a four-member group, headed by Lyndon Johnson, “which committed criminal acts in Texas in the 1960’s.” The other two, besides Mr. Estes and LBJ, were Cliff Carter and Mac Wallace. Mr. Estes disclosed that LBJ ordered the Marshall killing, and that he transmitted his orders through Cliff Carter to Mac Wallace, who executed the murder.
In November of 1963, other scandals surrounding Johnson were coming to a head. There was the TFX scandal with Fred Korth, who had to resign a month before the assassination. There was the Bobby Baker scandal, there was the Billy Sol Estes scandal, and there was Johnson’s ties with Jack Halfen, a mafia man working for New Orleans Mafia boss Carlos Marcello.
As the scandals grew and Johnson’s Mafia ties became more and more pronounced in the media, Kennedy realized his administration’s survival was imperiled, and plans were underway to drop Johnson from the ’64 ticket. Kennedy’s plan to drop him from the ticket was a very real threat to both Johnson and his ally, FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover, who were both heavily compromised by the same Mafia ties at a time when Attorney General Robert Kennedy was cracking down on organized crime. Once out of office, Johnson and Hoover would lose immunity from prosecution.
With the Kennedy assassination, Johnson gave us the Warren Commission. According to the FBI, the man heading it, Supreme Court Chief Justice Earl Warren, was a former leader in the Ku Klux Klan, the same Klan which FBI telexes implicated in the murder from day one. Almost all Warren Commission members were right-wing freemasons– Allen Dulles, Arlen Specter, Gerald Ford, Chief Justice Earl Warren, etc.
Had the Warren Commission investigated the obvious suspect, i.e., Johnson, it would be like having the Nazis trying Hitler for the murder of a Jew. Kennedy was the first and only Catholic president this nation ever had.
From pre assassination correspondence between Gov. Connally and Lee Harvey Oswald to proof that Oswald was on the FBI payroll; compelling evidence was later uncovered in an investigation by the House Select Committee on Assassinations, which concluded in 1979 that the assassination was indeed the result of at least two shooters, and thereby, a conspiracy. The findings would shatter the Warren Commission’s long discredited, Klan promulgated lone nut theory.
Thus in Johnson, we have motive– self-preservation, we have the criminal profile of a cold-blooded murderer, and opportunity, as Johnson was in charge of security that day. There was also a shared threat of impending state and federal indictments which insured the complicity of FBI Director Hoover.
Kennedy’s plan to drop Johnson from the ’64 ticket was not just a threat to LBJ and Hoover- but consequently, to the military industrial complex itself, the same which Eisenhower warned us about in his Farewell Address.
The United States lost almost 60,000 men to preserve the lucrative heroin trade in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. Democracy was only important inasmuch as it allowed for the drug trade to flourish.
The Southern Juridiction of the Scottish Rite was founded by the same British sympathizers which fought against George Washington in the Revolutionary War; it was an institution whose wealth was the product of slavery and drug smuggling; an institution that was the key instigator of the Southern secession that led to the Civil War. Hoover was a 33rd mason in this Templar order, its members included Gerald Ford, Allen Dulles, Lyndon Johnson, Earl Warren. This right-wing, fiercely anti-Catholic secret society also included members of the military industrial complex pushing for the Vietnam war. But the fight was never to contain Communism.
The notion that Johnson would send our boys to their deaths to preserve an illicit drug trade may seem far-fetched, but it isn’t. The same Scottish Rite instigated a war between Britain and China for precisely that reason about 100 years earlier.
The Opium Wars (1839-1843, 1856-1860) were fought between the British and the Chinese over the Scottish Rite’s illegal importation of opium into China. The wars resulted in territorial gains for the British, including the acquisition of Hong Kong for 100 years. China lost the right to regulate trade within its own borders.
Ironically, Vietnam involved the same participants, the Chinese and the Scottish Rite. When the United States lost the Vietnam War, it was primarily due to the unlimited flow of arms and manpower from China. After Vietnam, the Scottish Rite and similar Washington cabals needed a new source of illicit revenue, so they simply moved their clandestine operations to South America.
As a result, cocaine and heroin poured into American streets by the mid-seventies, immediately after Vietnam.
The recent riots in Seattle over the secretive WTO meeting in late 1999 should give one pause for thought. They dealt with precisely the same matter that launched the Opium Wars: the right of a nation to regulate trade within its own borders.
