Looking back I can't help but acknowledge the role of trauma in the way I've handled life.
You see, I had a very good friend, a friend deeply admired by myself and I'm sure many others. He was always watching out for me, and for everyone, for that matter. He was, in fact, a war hero.
He was always trying to do the right thing. One day, in broad daylight and in front of women and children, he was shot down in the street. He had his head blown off, his skull exploding into a pink mist.... it replays in my mind constantly, haunting me so many years later. It happened right before me, and many others.
I saw that the authorities not only allowed it to happen but facilitated it. I saw that "Bonesmen" had done obscene and unspeakable things to his body. I saw his killers gloat openly that no one would ever find out what happen, but so many of us knew exactly who did it and why.
That sort of thing changes people.
That person was our president, President Kennedy. Like 9-11, the assassination was a national trauma, wherein people also saw murder happen before their very eyes. And like 9-11, the powers that be, especially the media, used their knowledge of psychology, in particular cognitive dissonance, to manipulate the victims to suit their aims and use their common sense of denial to protect the guilty. They knew the evidence pointing to government complicity would be undeniable and palpable, and that it would likely contradict deeply held beliefs of their government as a protective force capable of ensuring justice.
The individual holding these contradictory views would experience significant mental stress which would, as often does, result in denial or a refusal to examine facts that could challenge their world view. Outwardly, denial protects people from anxiety, from fear. People fear ostracism, psychological deterioration, feeling helpless and vulnerable, etc. Yet they use this against you, and quite deliberately, as well, as evidenced by the continual barrage of character assassinations when it comes to anyone, no matter how learned or respected, who questions the Magic Bullet Theory or raises the question of Building 7. In both cases, they are engaging in a PSYOP campaign, illegally, against a domestic target.
One of President Kennedy's most enduring quotes is "Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country."
If there is one thing I would like to do for my country, it is to make sure everyone knows the truth about who murdered President Kennedy, and also his brother Robert F. Kennedy, and Martin Luther King, Jr. As for 9-11, full exposure is coming and will forever change the nature and influence of the corporate media. There will soon come a time when saying "it's true because I saw it on the news" will have the same credibility as saying "it's true because I made it up."
Like any trauma, these events aren't something you can just get over and some never do, and like many the assassination is not just a quest for justice but for healing. The same goes for 9-11.
This national trauma that was the Kennedy assassination changed me because it was the first time I realized that our government was not, at bottom, controlled by its citizens and it was not fundamentally good. So when the media attempts to perpetuate an injustice by protecting the identity of the killers, and then blames it on a man who actually tried to help the President, of course I take it personally. It becomes a contempt for the media that burns from a smoldering ember to a white hot rage every time they do this.
“Secret Service Agent Clint Hill, who rushed forward to protect Jackie during the shooting, has consistently maintained the same story... He rushed forward, climbed on the back of the limo, pushed Jackie (who had gone onto the trunk to retrieve a chunk of Jack’s skull and brains) back into the seat, lay across their bodies, peered into a fist-sized hole at the back of his head and gave a “thumb’s down” to other agents.”
That is why the truth about the JFK assassination may be the most important thing an American can know. Lyndon Baines Johnson, Richard Nixon, both later president, were involved in the November 22, 1963 coup, as well as FBI Directer J. Edgar Hoover. The corporate media is your overseer and an active conspirator in the cover-up, your slave masters behind the petrodollar are not elected but are now extremely vulnerable, and until we rip the tongue out of the corporate media's gaping maw, we will never be free. How can anyone possibly be free in the face of a jailer who can imprison a mind?
So right now, it can be said, with no hyperbole, that the corporate media has long been engaged in perpetuating and inflicting trauma, not just to protect political entities and the status quo but simply for money, as well.
In regards to controlling the masses Adolf Hitler noted that “The most effective method has at all times been terror or violence… the weapon which most readily conquers reason.” The corporate media itself is therefore an instrument of terror. That's why it is not merely a matter of the corporate media lying to you, it is a matter of the media intentionally and continually traumatizing a nation, unchallenged. More than anyone, they are aware of the fact that television is a window to the outside world, and that window is an instrument they have proven all too willing to abuse in the service of oligarchs and organized crime.

“Carl Bernstein, writing in the October 1977 issue of Rolling Stone magazine, reported that more than 400 American journalists worked for the CIA, and that the New York Times was one of the CIA’s closest media collaborators. Yet other CIA assets included Philip Graham, publisher of the Washington Post, as well as Newsweek and Time magazine and CBS news. In December of 1977, the New York Times reported that “more than eight hundred news and public information organizations and individuals,” had been on the CIA’s payroll.” Continue reading →
“[Allen] Dulles was not acting out of kindness. He wanted to put these men to work as spies who would murder and kill in the name of the good ‘ol USA. Even before the war ended, Dulles had begun recruiting Gestapo agents, that is, members of the German Order of Skull and Bones, the Brotherhood of Death, into what would become the American version of the Gestapo, the CIA. As recently revealed by the CIA (5) and as documented by Christopher Simpson, in his extensively researched book, Blowback, “hundreds of convicted Nazi war criminals” were “smuggled out of Germany to avoid prosecution at the war crimes trials at Nuremberg.” They were “recruited by, and were put on the payroll of several U.S. government agencies, including the Army CIC, the OSS, and the Office of Policy Coordination within the State Department.” Continue reading →
